What is the selection process for B.Tech and what is the minimum JEE score required?

<p>The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is the primary qualification for admission to B.Tech programmes at the majority of government and prestigious private engineering institutes in India. Depending on the programme and category selected, the minimum qualifying percentile for JEE Main often ranges from 40&ndash;50% for NITs and 60&ndash;90% for IITs.To be eligible for a B.Tech programme at Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), one must first get a qualifying rank in JEE Main, and then one must secure a high rank in JEE Advanced.</p><p>Universities and institutions have their own requirements for admission, and various factors, such as class 12 grades, JEE scores, and other entrance tests (if relevant), are given varying weights.With respect to the general category, cut-off scores are typically lower for reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC, and PwD.
