Candidates who passed Class 12 or PUC are eligible to apply for the KCET. Earlier, students had to have a minimum of 45% in the qualifying examination to be eligible to apply.

Course wise: Varies for Medical and Dental and Medicine and Homeopathy. Also, candidates should also satisfy the KCET eligibility criteria of all the clauses laid out by the Karnataka Examination Authority.

Reservation: The eligibility criteria include various parameters like age, citizenship, qualifying marks, domicile, etc.
