Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantpur (JNTUA) admission is primarily entrance and merit-based.

For BTech, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks from a recognised board. Candidates must have qualified in a relevant entrance examination, such as the JEE Main, Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, or Andhra Pradesh ICET.

JNTUA has an impressive capacity of about 1100 seats. The tution fees is about INR 54000- INR 1.4 Lacs for a total of 4 years.
