What is the selection process for different MA colleges in India?

The selection method for the MA or Master of Arts course is based on the entrance exam score, marks obtained in 12th and 10th grade, as well as the marks or CGPA in graduation. Following a written test, personal interview, counselling and group discussion, aspirants are assigned seats based on other criteria fulfilled by them.
