The selection process for GNIMS Mumbai is based on entrance exams. Some of the entrance exams include MAH MBA/ MMS CET/ CAT/ JMET/ ATMA/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT. In addition to this, candidates must be graduated with at least 50% aggregate to get admission to GNIMS Mumbai.

The CAT cut off for admission to any IIM or top MBA college in India is 90%ile. Top IIMs with 99+ percentile cut offs include IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow, and IIM Kozhikode.

The following are the CAT cut offs for several MBA programs:

Top MBA programs: 95 and above
Colleges with a good reputation: 80-99 percentile
MBA institutions in Tiers 2 and 3: 60-80 percentile
    75-90 percentile at IIMs
The CAT qualifying scores are the minimal score requirements for MBA admission. They serve as the foundation for applicants' selection for the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
