To get admission to an LL.M. program, universities generally conduct an entrance exam. The Consortium of NLU's conducts the CLAT exam annually to provide admission to UG and PG programs in various law universities and colleges in India.
To be eligible for the CLAT LLM 2024 exam, aspirants should meet the following criteria:
Be in the final semester or year of their LLB graduation
Have at least 50% marks in the LLB exam
Have a 5% relaxation of marks if they belong to SC and ST
The minimum score required to apply for the CLAT exam is:
45% for General, OBC, PWD, NRI, PIO, and OCI categories
40% for SC/ST categories

To get selected a certain criteria and procedure is followed, the candidate must have completed their LLB degree (5-year or 3-year LLB) from a university recognised by the BCI. the candidate must atleast have 45% Aggregate in their 12th. for SC/ST candidate the criteria is 40%.There is no age limit for appearing in UG CLAT and pursuing LLB course in national law univeristies.
