What is the selection process for M.A. and what is the minimum percentage in graduation required?

<p>To be eligible for the MA in Media and Communication Studies programme at Christ University, applicants must have:</p><ul><li><p>A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in English is mandatory. Applicants need to have IELTS 6.0 with no sub-score below 5.5 or TOEFL (paper) 550, TOEFL (computer) 213 or TOEFL (IBT) 79 scores.</p></li></ul><p>The selection process for the programme consists of:</p><p>1) An online application form that needs to be filled via the university website.</p><p>2) Shortlisted applicants are called for a personal interview round conducted by the Department of Media Studies. The personal interview evaluates the applicant's communication skills, aptitude for the program, and subject knowledge.</p><p>3) Selected candidates are issued an offer of admission letter which they need to accept by paying the requisite fees.</p><p>Students from non-English speaking backgrounds also need to enroll for either:</p><ul><li><p>An intensive certificate course in English conducted from March to May.</p></li><li><p>Or a part-time certificate course in English conducted after regular class hours from June to December.</p></li></ul><p>This is to ensure that they have the required proficiency to pursue the MA program.</p>
