    Jadavpur University MA admission is based on the candidates performance in the admission test conducted by the university and academic performance. The selection criteria with the weightage is mentioned below for some of the MA (Day) courses:

    MA Specialisation

    Selection Criteria (with weightage)

    For Sanskrit

    Aggregate in Honors papers (30%) + Admission Test (70%)

    For Education

    Category I: Aggregate in Secondary exam (10%) + HSC or equivalent aggregate (10%) + Honors papers (30%) + Admission Test (50%)

    Category II: Aggregate in Secondary exam (10%) + HSC or equivalent aggregate (10%) + B.Ed exam score (30%) + Admission Test (50%)
