The selection process for an MBA in India typically includes:

    Common entrance exam

Written Ability Test (WAT) or Essay Writing

    Group Discussion (GD)

    Personal Interview (PI)

The minimum CAT percentile required for admission to any IIM or top MBA colleges in India is 90 percentile. However, some colleges may give admission without a CAT score.

CAT cutoffs are typically fixed at the following percentiles:

Tier 3 MBA colleges: 60 percentile and above

Tier 2 B schools: 70 to 80 percentile and above

    Top IIMs: 99+ percentile

Some IIMs with lower cutoffs include:

    IIM Ranchi: 92+ percentile

    IIM Raipur: 90 + percentile

    IIM Kashipur: 90+ percentile

    IIM Udaipur
