The NEET UG entrance test shall be completed by candidates in order to gain admission to MBBS. To be eligible for MBBS admission, candidates from the general category must earn 50% on their qualifying exam and 50% on the medical entrance exam NEET UG administered by the CBSE.

ACS Medical College and Hospital in Chennai, Tamil Nadu admits students to its MBBS programme based on their scores on the national-level NEET exam. The general cut-off for admission is 39,834–120,283.
