    The selection process for MBBS admissions in India involves the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET), which is the mandatory entrance exam for admission to MBBS courses in India. The minimum marks required in NEET for MBBS depend on the category to which the candidate belongs to. The minimum cut-off percentile for the unreserved candidate is the 50th percentile. Similarly, it is the 40th percentile for OBC and ST/OH categories. Candidates who secure marks equal to or more than the minimum marks required in NEET for MBBS are called to appear in the counselling round.
