What is the selection process for Non-GATE students at IIIT Sri City MTech?

<p>The selection process of IIIT Sri City M.Tech for Non-GATE is divided into two categories a)Non-GATE candidates with an undergraduate degree from CFTI institutes b) Non-GATE General candidates (Non-CFTI or CFTI with less than 8.0 CGPA).&nbsp;</p><p>Selection process for both the categories is mentioned below:</p><p><strong>Non GATE Candidates with an Undergraduate degree from CFTI Institutes</strong></p><ul><li>The candidates will be selected on the basis of merit in the qualifying degree. Candidate must have scored a minimum of 8.0 CGPA to fall under this category.</li><li>Shortlisted candidates have to appear for a Coding Test and Personal Interview conducted by IIIT Sri City.</li></ul><p><strong>Non GATE General candidates (Non-CFTI or CFTI with less than 8.0 CGPA)</strong></p><ul><li>Candidates who does not have an undergraduate degree from a CFTI Institute or the aggregate score from CFTI institute is less than 8.0 CGPA, falls under this category.</li><li>The selection is based on the entrance test conducted by IIIT Sri City, the syllabus of this entrance test is similar to GATE Syllabus.</li><li>After appearing for the entrance test, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a Coding test followed by a personal interview.</li><li>Prior work experience will be given additional weightage in the selection process.</li></ul>
