The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) SAS Nagar, Punjab has a selection process that includes an interview.

To be eligible for the NIPER PhD program, candidates must:

Have a qualifying degree with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or CGPA of 6.75

Have a valid GATE/NET or GPAT score

Appear for the NIPER entrance exam

Pass GPAT/ GATE/NET

Candidates from SC/ST categories must have at least a 55% or 6.25 CGPA as a minimum passing score.
