The selection process for the BTech programme at BMS College of Engineering has the following criteria:
- Candidates must have completed Class 12 and PUC with at least 50% aggregate, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and English as one of the languages.
- Selection is done through either KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) conducted by KEA along with KEA Counselling or COMED-K entrance exam along with COMED-K Counselling.
