1. Application Form
To apply for the PGDM Programme at GIMS, applicants must fill the form either offline or on the online admissions portal. The Application processing fee is INR 1200/-. This fee can be paid through credit card, debit card or net banking.
2. Screening of Application Form
The application forms will be scrutinized by the GIMS panel and the candidates will be shortlisted on the following parameters:
• CMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT or GMAT Admit Card or Score Card
• Consistency of academic record
• Versatility and achievements
• Relevance of work experience for the specialisation (If any)
3. GIMS Aptitude Test (GAT)
Applicants shortlisted in stage II, will be called for GIMS Aptitude Test (GAT). The test would be for 45 Mins and would have questions related to Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Critical Reasoning & Decision-Making Skills.
This test will be optional for the students who have more than 60 percentile in CMAT/CAT/XAT/ GMAT or above 75 in MAT but mandatory if the candidate wants to avail GIMS scholarship. However, it will be mandatory for the candidate to appear for all the other stages of the selection process.
4. Group Discussion/ Essay Round
The students who qualify for GAT, CMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT or GMAT would be invited for Group Discussion on the campus or Zoom Platform. The topic of discussion will be provided by a panelist or a group of panelists.Students who qualify Group Discussion will be eligible for the next round. Essay Round (Written) will be conducted, where conducting GD is not possible.
5. Personal Interview / Presentation Shortlisted candidates after Group Discussion will have to face either of the following:
• Personal Interview (Face to face or Zoom)
• Presentation (Student will have to prepare and give a PowerPoint presentation on a topic given)
6. Final Selection
Final Selection will be based on the decision of a panelist or a group of panelists.
The selection list is based on a composite score, which takes into account the applicant’s profile, academic record, entrance test scores MAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT or GIMS Aptitude Test (GAT), performance in the Group Discussion and Interview / Presentation/Essay Round.

• The decision of the Admission Committee shall be binding & final.
• Any act or omission of suppressing academic information or furnishing false documents etc. will make the admission aspirant automatically disqualified at any stage of the admission process. No fee shall be refunded in such case and such offender will be liable to face appropriate penal action by the institute.
• Prevalent norms of AICTE shall be followed for the admission process.
