<p>The complete selection process of SSC Stenographer is explained below:</p><p><strong>Release of application form: </strong><a href="https://www.shiksha.com/exams/ssc-stenographer-exam-application-form">SSC Stenographer application form</a> is released online. The application fee is INR 100, Women and Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with disability (PwD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) candidates are exempted from fee payment.</p><p><strong>Issue of admit card: </strong><a href="https://www.shiksha.com/exams/ssc-stenographer-exam-admit-card">SSC Stenographer admit card&nbsp;</a>is released online on the respective regional websites of the commission. Candidates can access their admit cards by logging with registration ID/roll number/candidate&rsquo;s name and password.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Computer-Based Test: </strong>This is the first stage of SSC Stenographer Grade C &amp; D. The computer-based test is conducted for all candidates who successfully register for the exam. The exam comprises three sections, General Intelligence &amp; Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language and Comprehension. The total marks for the test are 200.</p><p><strong>Declaration of result: </strong><a href="https://www.shiksha.com/exams/ssc-stenographer-exam-results">SSC Stenographer result</a> is declared online for different stages of exams. The result is made available in PDF format. It displays the roll numbers of qualified candidates. Along with the result, <a href="https://www.shiksha.com/exams/ssc-stenographer-exam-cutoff">SSC Stenographer cut off marks</a> for various posts and categories are also released.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Skill Test in Stenography: </strong>This stage is conducted for the shortlisted candidates of the computer-based test. Candidates are given one dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi. Candidates need to type the dictation at the speed of 100 words per minute for the post of Stenographer Grade C and 80 w.p.m for the post of Grade D.</p>
