What is the sequence of stages in GIBS MBA/PGDM admission (application, SOP, group discussion, personal interview, etc.)?

• Resume Shortlisting: Companies first review student resumes, which are prepared with assistance from the placement cell, to shortlist candidates based on academic performance, specializations, and relevant internships or work experience.
• Written Tests: Shortlisted candidates often need to appear for written tests, which may include aptitude tests (quantitative, logical reasoning), technical assessments, and psychometric evaluations. Strong analytical skills are a key requirement at this stage.
• Group Discussions (GD): Candidates who clear the written test participate in group discussions. This round assesses their communication skills, teamwork, leadership qualities, logical reasoning, and overall personality.
• Personal Interviews (PI): The final stage involves one or more rounds of personal interviews (both technical and HR interviews). Recruiters use this time to evaluate the candidate's personality, subject knowledge, confidence, career aspirations, problem-solving abilities, and suitability for the specific job role and company culture.
• Overall Demeanor: Throughout the process, recruiters also evaluate professionalism, punctuality, appropriate formal attire, and body language.

Click on “Apply Online or ofline” at the GIBS website and select the desired program: BBA or PGDM.
Sign up with your personal information like name, email, mobile number, etc.
Fill in the Application Form
Give your academic details of 10th, 12th, graduation for PGDM, and other relevant information.
Upload necessary documents (mark sheets, certificates, photos, etc.).

Pay the Application Fee

Application fee for BBA is ₹ 600.

The application fee for PGDM is ₹ 850.

You can pay through net banking, UPI, e-wallet, or demand draft.

If paying through DD, make it favoring “GOYAL EDUCATIONAL TRUST” and send a scanned copy of the DD along with your details to the admissions email.

Selection Process

After application, GIBS reviews your application and will contact you, typically within ~48 hours for next steps.

The shortlisted candidates are then called for group discussion and personal interview.

You may also be required to send a Statement of Purpose for PGDM.

Offer & Admission Confirmation You will be given an admission offer if selected. Complete the admission formalities including payment of a part of the fees / admission confirmation fee. Finalize your enrollment by submitting the required original documents to GIBS. Document Checklist BBA: 10th and 12th mark sheets, transfer certificate, migration certificate-if any, and passport-size photographs. Documents required for admission: For PGDM: Graduation mark sheets, entrance exam scorecard, 10th and 12th mark sheets, migration certificate, transfer certificate, etc.
