The SSC CHSL skill test is conducted as the third stage of the CHSL exam for the post of Data Entry Operator (DEO). This is also known as the "Tier 3" stage after objective tier 1 and written tier 2. In this skill test, the selected candidates' data entry speed is tested. The criteria are to have a data entry speed of 2,000 key depressions in 15 minutes for DEO and 3,700 key depressions for DEO Grade A. Tips to clear this test are:
