What is the standing of the M.Tech program offered by the Karnataka State Open University through distance education

Sir I want to do MTech from Karnataka State Open University in distnace education mode. It has DEC and UGC recognition. Is thsi MTech valid to apply to the posts of lectuter and Professor jobs in Engineering colleges? Is AICTE recognition must for MTEch degree to apply for teaching jobs?

I am Doing M.Tech Computer Science in Distance from Karnataka State Open University , University does not need approval for any technical Courses (AICTE) , now after completion of my course CAn I apply for Phd program and also Govt. Job in Collage . Please Guide me
