The starting salary of an economics graduate typically ranges between $50,000 and $70,000 annually, depending on the country, industry, and level of education. Graduates entering finance, consulting, or data analysis roles may see higher initial pay compared to those in public policy or academic research. Factors such as internships, geographical location, and additional certifications can also impact starting salaries. Advanced degrees like a master’s or Ph.D. generally lead to higher starting salaries and broader career opportunities in specialised fields.

Depending on your specialisation in Economics, your salary will vary. On an average, the salary of an economics students with a general degree, will fall in the range of 18000 to 25000. Your salary will also depend on the job profile that you are applying for. Basically, a number of parameters will determine how much salary you will be getting.

Salary is something that will always and always depend on you as to how confident and capable you are to grab any big opportunity that is provided. If you are confident enough then on an average basis 20-25k can be earned with good academic background.
