Entry-level Chemical Engineers in PSUs typically fall under the pay scale of E1 or E2 grade. The basic pay for an entry-level engineer in a PSU can range from around Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month. In addition to the basic pay, there are various allowances and benefits such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Conveyance Allowance, and others that are provided to PSU employees. Now, as you could join any of the PSU only after qualifying GATE so the salary you will get at the time of joining ranges from INR 8 Lpa to INR 15 Lpa. With time it can increase upto INR 50 Lpa.
