This year batch (2011-15) was pilot batch. They managed to bring Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro and Tech Mahindra on day 1. Out of these Congnizant was something unexpected.
Cognizant took ~600 students out of 1200 appeared.
Infosys ~250, Wipro ~180, and TM ~50
Average package from these companies is 3-3.5 LPA.
Around 40-50 company visited this year (all niche type, except few such as Broadcom, CTS, Infy, Wipro).
IBM did pool placement.
Highest package was around 4.0 LPA from a small company (do not remember the name though)
