What is the status of Software Engineering now in India?

Great, things in software industry is changing drastically. You think about it, and it is already happening somewhere around the corner. I will say nobody can kill this industry, neither any technology can. But, a drift in the field can be easily seen. One need to keep themselves in race with this.
