    The best strategy is to be thorough with the basics of all three sections asked in the exam and to give as many mock exams as possible. Analysis of the mocks would give you an idea where you stand with respect to others and the areas at which you need improvement.

    Hello,
    There are three sections in CAT, so I will tell you section wise.
    Reading Comprehension
    Start reading newspaper daily to increase your reading speed and grasping power and also to boost your current affair knowledge. Don't miss out the editorial page. Do proper analysis of articles on editorial page. Try to make summary of articles that you read para by para. But reading newspaper won't be sufficient. Start solving RCs on a regular basis with proper analysis. DI is one of the toughest section especially from previous 2-3 years.     he CAT itself should ideally be given with 6 months preparation, as then a student has enough time to space out his preparation and work at a comfortable pace. Also, for working professionals who dont have as much time on their hands as the college students, and who perhaps have to devote more time to preparation than college students, it is essential to start early. Several steps which are key to giving a good CAT cannot be taken overnight or crammed into a couple of weeks time. Yes, there is a 10% scholarship for those who have scored 80 percentile and above in the CAT exam. Scholarship based on CAT is offered based on document verification once you join the program. There are limited scholarship seats which are offered on first-cum-first-serve basis.
