The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a standardised test conducted for assessing English proficiency of candidates who wants to study or work abroad. The IELTS Academic or General Training test are available on both paper or computer. It is important for candidates looking to score well in their IELTS Test to understand the IELTS Exam Pattern and IELTS Syllabus in detail. The IELTS Exam consists of four sections:
• IELTS Listening section
• IELTS Reading section
• IELTS Writing section
• IELTS Speaking section

IELTS exam structure is simple, there are four sections and applicants have to answer questions chronologically for the IELTS sections in the following order:
While, the first three sections have to be taken one after the other, Speaking section can be taken on that very day or it can be after 2-3 days of the exam. Unless the Speaking section is completed, the IELTS exam shall not be deemed as completed.
