SI PET/PMT is an integral part of the Recruitment process to obtain the sub-inspector Railway Protection Force. PET refers to activities like 800-meter runs and long and high jumps and includes the evaluation regarding endurance aptitude and physical fitness; PMT refers to the evaluation of the standards of candidates' physical parameters, that is, for male candidates, height chest, weight, etc. The written test and interview will be the successive stages of the recruitment procedure for those applicants who also qualify for the PET and PMT requirements.
