What is the student teacher ratio in LPU?

To my knowledge and experience, Lovely Professional University is always appreciated because of the faculty members, placement, and curriculum. As per my personal experience, I am able to observe such a level of thinking in a Management guy from Lovely Professional University. Almost all of the colleges being compared here have a huge number of people on the campus. Student-to-faculty ratio can be a defining factor while choosing amongst these colleges. LPU Faculty hired is at par as per the requirements of UGC. Hence one could go Government UGC site to be able to understand more details on this. Well, that's more of a judgemental question, nobody could be 100 % precise with this information. But overall, the quality of faculty members is good in almost all the reputed Universities across the country. Faculty members hold good industry experienced, hold related degrees, and are recruited through a tedious process. Though having such a qualification need not mean one can teach well, I agree with that, but the system of how the faculty's environment work is good. If a faculty is not giving his best or delivering good lectures then students have the free option to report the same to the HEAD OF DEPARTMENT and ultimately THE HEAD OF SCHOOL and GET THE TEACHER REPLACED or CHANGED. There are frequent feedback sessions and suggestions taken of the faculty members from the students on how well they are delivering in the classes. The curriculum is tough at times, but if you understand the system, then it's easy, it is also advanced. Dear Nikki, Being alumni of LPU, I can answer this question. This depends on the programme you choose. If you choose UG courses then most of the ratio is 60:1 (In group 30:1). If you choose the PG programme then 20:1, and at a doctorate level, it depends on the research area and course work. Well, I would like to share a few more details about LPU. LPU is spread over 600 acres of campus having 30000+ students and 3500+ faculty and staff. Many students come across the world which makes you feel like you are in a foreign country. LPU offers more than 200+ programmes every year in different fields including economics, law, performing arts, management, engineering, fashion design, journalism, and zoology. Students can gain a Diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees. Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA till now. Scholarships: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. LPU also helps students in the Education loan facility. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Most of the faculty members are from IIT, IIIT, NIT, IIM or from elite Schools (India/Abroad. They have a decade of experience. The faculty is really helpful. Even they help students after regular university hours In every section they have 4060 Students which helps teachers to focus on focus on each student. Apart from that, they have 4000+ nonteaching staff also and they all are so supportive and helpful in nature. If we come into the question ratio LPU has a 1:15 student-teacher ratio. This is quite high if we compare it with other colleges. They are very helpful in nature and quite an experience staff. The way of teaching is so great and I always enjoyed the classes at LPU.

Well, I always had a good experience with my professors in LPU. They are highly qualified faculty members, most of them are from IITs, Iims, IIITs, and NIIT's as well. And most of them PhDs. I believe, faculty members there are not just teachers but are mentors and friends to students. They work hard on us to get us placed in the best of the companies. They have a really great bond with us. Every faculty member at LPU gives their 100% in the growth of students. Also, LPU keeps on conducting regular Faculty Development Programs so that they can update the faculty members with the industry and the latest needs. Besides that, if any student has any issue, they can personally take extra classes after class hours. So that no students feel hesitant in any matter or topics. The professor even organizes games and events for students to gel with us. So I think there is a good ratio and bonding between student and teacher in LPU So that's all from my side I hope this helps. Good Luck!

Being an alumni I have knowledge about this that the student teacher ratio in LPU is very appropriate. Even though there are so many students studying here, still each and every student gets individual attention from the teachers in the class. Here the maximum strength of each class is just 60. These classes are further divided into two groups- A and B- of only 30 students each so that each and every student can get the teachers undivided attention.

Hi, Around 2000 faculty members are there. University have almost equal number of male and female employees. Teacher to Student ratio is about 1:15. Around 370 M.Tech qualified, 23 M. Phils and 724 Ph.D. Academicians recruited from IITs, IIITs, IIM and IITM. At present 64 faculty from these institutes working in LPU.

Well there are three things that comes to my mind when it comes to LPU faculty 1. Experienced 2. Well learnt 3. Ever ready to help LPU comprises more than 20 schools that provide 200 plus programs in engineering, technology, management, pharmacy, social Science, hotel management having an extra edge in curriculum and facilities with the best staff and faculty. Hello, I am alumni of LPU I can say that LPU has quality staff. I have spent 4-5 years of my studies here at LPU. All of my teachers while classes were Ph.D. Scholars. They always follow government norms. They are having quality teachers as well. Apart from that, they have 4000+ nonteaching staff also and they all are so supportive and helpful in nature. If we come into the question ratio LPU has a 1:15 student-teacher ratio. This is quite high if we compare it with other colleges. They are very helpful in nature and quite an experience staff. The way of teaching is so great and I always enjoyed the classes at LPU. I hope I have answered the questions and this will help.
