    In the Engineering Services Examination preliminary exams, the Union Public Service Commission won't follow any weight-based pattern. For an electrical aspirant, I can suggest a few points. , Among all subjects, machines, networks, power systems, and control systems combined will definitely ensure you 100 to 150 marks (whatever the pattern may be). The new subjects like computer organisation, material Science, and math will be there in every teacher's mind because of their new syllabus. The subjects that were less focused on the previous year will not be the same this year; we can expect less emphasis on communication, microcontrollers
