    The CTET Paper 2 is for teaching posts in classes 6 to 8 in government schools. The paper 2 pattern is as follows:
    The syllabus for CTET Paper 2 consists of four sections. (a) Section 1: 30 questions based on child development and pedagogy, each worth one mark. (b) Section 2 and Section 3: Language 1 and Language 2 each consist of 30 questions worth one mark. (c) Section 4: You will have to attempt any one of the following sections: mathematics and Science, or social Science. Depending on which section you selected during the application, you have to answer 60 questions from that section. The topics are as follows:

    It is divided in four sections:
    Total marks:160;
    Child development and pedagogy : 30 marks;
    Language 1 (compulsory):. 30 marks;
    Language 2 (compulsory):. 30 marks;
    A. Mathematics and Science: 30 +30 marks;
    B. Social Science: 60 marks;
    Students have to choose between A and B.
