    AAT (Architecture Aptitude Test) is an entrance exam for admission to the B.Arch programme offered by IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee. Aspirants desiring to join the B.Arch programme available at both these IITs must appear in AAT.
    The syllabus for the Architecture Aptitude Test AAT will include:
    1) Freehand drawing: This includes the drawing of the total object in its right form and proportion, surface texture, relative location and details of its component parts in appropriate scale.
    2) Geometrical drawing: This involves the drawings containing the lines, angles, triangles etc. And the respective projections.

    AAT also known as Architecture Aptitude Test is an offline conducted entrance exam for admission to the B.Arch programme offered by IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee. A student who has qualified Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) can give AAT. AAT consists of one paper of three hours duration. The question paper for AAT will be available only in English language.
    Candidates have to bring their own drawing and coloring aids like:
    1) Pen
    2) Pencil 10/12 Set
    3) Sharpener
    4) Eraser
    5) Geometric instruments like a compass, ruler, etc.
    6) Hall ticket for JEE Advanced.

    AAT (Architecture Aptitude Test) is conducted by IIT-Roorkee for admission in IIT-Roorkee and IIT-Kharagpur for admission in 5-years B.Arch programme in 2 IIT. Exam is for the student who has qualified JEE Mains and Advanced with their category cut-off. After passing JEE advance exam one can able to appear in this exam only if they applied for AAT at the time for JEE advance form filling.
    The exam is of three hours. Question paper medium is of English and Hindi language. Question are from related topics Architecture awareness, Three-dimensional perception, Geometry etc. Candidates have to bring all the necessary items for drawing.

    Hello!
    As its name suggest that Architecture Aptitude Test is an entrance exam for those students who are willing to make career Architectural Science. One can only appear for this exam if they have qualified, JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. This 3 hour exam can be taken only in English at the 7 zonal IIT centres. The online registration for the exam starts in June with seat allotment commencing from July. However, the syllabus of this AAT is exam is very different from JEE Mains & Advance exam. This major portion of the exam consists of:
