What is the syllabus and exam pattern of the XIC OET?

Exam Pattern comprises 2 sections-
Part A will be objective and Part B will comprise subjective questions.
Total duration will be 90 minutes I.e. 60 minutes for Part A and 30 minutes for Part B.
The objective section carries 100 marks, including questions based on general knowledge, language, and media. The subjective section carries three questions of total 50 marks and questions will include essay writing, creative writing and opinion piece.
Syllabus will be –
Language Skills - Will have questions on correct the spellings, singular, plural, synonyms, antonyms, idioms and phrases, one-word substitutes, etc.

6 years agoXavier's Institute of Communications has not specified any XIC OET syllabus. However, candidates can go through the below-mentioned topics in order to perform well in XIC entrance exam.
Language Skills
In this section of the exam language ability of aspirants will be tested. Questions will be on topics related to correct the spellings, singular, plural, synonyms, antonyms, idioms and phrases, one-word substitutes, etc.
General Knowledge and Knowledge of Media

Exam pattern:
Here will be an objective type paper conducted in the online modes in the following manner:
Part I: Objective Type Questions
Language Skills/ General Knowledge/ Knowledge of Media/ Match the Idioms/ Match Company Logos/ Match Random Names etc.
Part II: Subjective Type Questions
- Essay Writing on any current affair topic (200 words) 30 Minutes.
- Opinion Piece (250 words) 30 Minutes.
- Creative Writing on a visual (100 words) 15 Minutes.
