    Type of Questions No. of Questions Maximum Marks
    Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation 25 100 marks
    Logical Reasoning 25 100 marks
    Language Comprehension 25 100 marks
    General Awareness 25 100 marks
    Duration of the test is 180 minutes (3 hours).
    There shall be negative marking for wrong answers, for each wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted.
    It happens every year for entry into various colleges.

    Language Comprehension - 25 questions
    Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation - 25 questions
    Logical Reasoning - 25 questions
    General Awareness - 25 questions
    These are the major questions which will be asked for CMAT.
    CMAT is completely online exam.
    The exam is divided in 4 sections with 25 MCQs in each section. Total questions are 100. All questions will carry equal marks in CMAT 2018. Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks and there will be negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.
    So I suggest you to try and attend mock test as much as possible. Some of the tips which I suggest you to clear the exam:

    The exam will be held in computer-based mode in a single session. The exam comprises four sections including Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness. There will be 100 questions and total marks for the exam is 400. The test will be held for 180 minutes duration. 4 marks for correct answer and 1 marks deducted for every wrong answer.

    CMAT exam is divided into four sections.
    First section being logical reasoning, second verbal ability, third is quantitative aptitude and the last one section which is of equal importance but is ignored by students is general awareness.
    In quants you would be having profit loss, interests, time work, time distance, probability, etc. This section is considers to be the hardest in CMAT as compared to reasoning section and verbal.
    Logical reasoning would be about puzzles, logic, cubes, etc.
