The exam will be held in computer-based mode in a single session. The exam comprises four sections including Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness. There will be 100 questions and total marks for the exam is 400. The test will be held for 180 minutes duration. 4 marks for correct answer and 1 marks deducted for every wrong answer. Language Comprehension - 25 questions Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation - 25 questions Logical Reasoning - 25 questions General Awareness - 25 questions These are the major questions which will be asked for CMAT. CMAT is completely online exam. The exam is divided in 4 sections with 25 MCQs in each section. Total questions are 100. All questions will carry equal marks in CMAT 2018. Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks and there will be negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer. So I suggest you to try and attend mock test as much as possible. Some of the tips which I suggest you to clear the exam: 1. Select one of the best coaching centers which offer quality education- TIME is one of the famous coaching centers for CAT and CMAT. 2. Dedication- Be focused on the aim which you need to achieve. 3. Try to read Hindu newspaper editorial. Most of the passages which appear in CMAT are from Hindu editorial. 4. Try to do a maximum number of online mock tests. You will definitely clear CMAT by doing the above. 5. Try to read as much as you can and make note of points. 6. Revision of each week topics is very important. 7. Mathematical ability questions will be little-twisted try to do as faster as you can. These are my tips for you to crack both CMAT and CAT.

CMAT exam is divided into four sections. First section being logical reasoning, second verbal ability, third is quantitative aptitude and the last one section which is of equal importance but is ignored by students is general awareness. In quants you would be having profit loss, interests, time work, time distance, probability, etc. This section is considers to be the hardest in CMAT as compared to reasoning section and verbal. Logical reasoning would be about puzzles, logic, cubes, etc. You need to prepare for general awareness section also as it is of equal weightage. In comparison with other exams like CAT, CET, ATMA you can say that CMAT is the most easiest if you have sound basics. So study quant, Reasoning, verbal and general awareness and give equal time to all as every section is carrying 25% weightage.

CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges. CMAT comprises of four sections namely : 1) Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation 2) General Awareness 3) Logical Reasoning 4) Language Comprehension There are totally 100 questions , with each section having 25 questions.There will be 4 options for each question from which the candidate will have to pick 1 option. The time duration for the entrance exam will be 180 minutes. Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will be awarded +4 marks. there will be a negative marking of -1 for each incorrect answer.
