    Hi,
    There are two stages of NID Entrance.
    Stage 1 - Design Aptitude Test (DAT) prelims: Design Aptitude Test (DAT) prelims will be conducted at various test centres across India. Candidates should note that appearing for this prelims or being ranked in the shortlist does not guarantee automatic entitlement to admission.
    Stage 2 - Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Mains: Candidate shortlisted after the DAT prelims will be invited to appear for the stage 2 DAT main exam in Ahmedabad.
    For M.Des. - selected candidates will be invited to Ahmedabad, Bengaluru or Gandhinagar.

    Hello,
    NID, an aptitude test conducted by National Institute of Design.
    NID exam doesn't have any set syllabus. Questions are asked on the basics topics such as Communication Skills, Composition, Creativity, Drawing Skills, General Mental Ability, and Sensitivity to Environment and Subjects of Design.
    It is conducted in two stages: Prelims and Mains.
    Prelims consists of two parts:
    Part I- having Multiple-choice questions marked out of 70 points. This part has questions with one or more than one correct answer. The responses of this part will be recorded on an OMR sheet and evaluated digitally.
