What is the syllabus for CA?

Hi Ragu, CA has 3 stages CPT IPCC FINAL If you are a class 12 student or completed class 12 you can attempt CPT exam which is held twice in a year- June and December. You have the following 4 papers FUNDAMENTALS OF ACCOUNTING MERCANTILE LAW GENERAL ECONOMICS QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE- which comprise of Maths and Statistics CPT is an objective exam. But it is going to be descriptive and an additional paper is going to be introduced- COMMMUNICATIVE ENGLISH. If you are a graduate then you can opt direct entry to IPCC where you have 7 papers. 1 additional paper is going to be introduced. If you are opting CPT and then IPCC then after IPCC you have to do 3 years of articleship. After reaching 2.5 years you can try the FINAL exam. If you are making direct entry then you have to do 9 months of articleship before your IPCC exam and complete the remaining years of articleship. Hope this helped you. Feel free to revert.

CA is very good and career oriented field. After CA on can also do CS. One can start his own practice or can join a law firm also.
