    Hi,
    The training of professionals as part of M.Tech (Construction Engineering and Management) program focuses on following areas: project management, construction management, contracts management, construction quality, safety and equipment management, supply chain management of construction projects, modern construction materials and technologies, computer applications in construction (ERP, MS Project, Primavera) and building information modelling (BIM) for construction industry. Students also have to enroll in travel and documentation programs, and intern in construction projects to widen their exposure.

    For CEPT entenace exam details are given below:
    The entrance test is conducted in one stage through two sessions
    Session 1
    Visual Perception and Logical Reasoning - Imagination, Exposure to Basic Design and Interiors, Lateral Thinking
    ( 90 Minutes - 100 Marks - 15% Weightage )
    Colour Perception and Association - Sensitivity to Colour, Visual Order, Association, Interpretation, Application, Context Analysis
    ( 120 Minutes - 100 Marks - 15% Weightage )
    Session 1
    Making and Creativity - Organizational Principles, Visualizing 3D Objects, Observational Skills, Scale and Proportions, Logic and Ordering Principles

No. The authorities will not release the official CEPT syllabus online. The candidates will have to prepare for the entrance examination by studying the subjects and topics that they have studied in their undergraduate years. During the Stage 2 of CEPT admission process, the candidates will be allotted in the remaining seats. It is also to be noted that the score secured in the Stage I of the admission process cannot be carried forward to Stage II. All candidates will have to be physically present at the campus for Stage II of the admission process. The weightage for Part A (Test) and Part B (Personal Interview) is 60% and 40%, respectively.

During the Stage 1 of CEPT admission process, candidates with exceptional performance will be offered direct admissions. Other candidates will have to appear for a personal interview round to be shortlisted for admission. The candidate's CV and Work experience will be given 5% weightage, while the last qualifying exam will be given 10% weightage. The submitted statement of purpose and recommendation letters will be given 15%, while the candidate's portfolio will be given 50%.

The authorities will release the CEPT entrance exam pattern online at admissions.cept.ac.in. Candidates will be able to check the details regarding how the entrance exam will be held through the CEPT exam pattern. The authorities will not use any other mode to release the exam pattern of CEPT. All candidates are advised to carefully check the CEPT exam pattern so that they are able to know how the exam will be conducted and accordingly prepare for it.
