The IBPS Clerk Exam is conducted for clerical level posts in 11 Indian public sector banks. The subject-wise syllabus of the IBPS Clerk exam is as follows:
1. English Syllabus: This section includes topics in vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension. The questions are about synonyms, antonyms, correct spelling, and word formation in vocabulary. The basic questions like "spotting errors, " "direct and indirect speech, " and "active and passive voice" are asked in the grammar part.

IBPS Clerk Syllabus for Prelims and Mains Exam :-
The major three sections which a candidate needs to focus on are:ReasoningQuantitative AptitudeEnglish Language
The exam pattern of IBPS Clerk prelims exam 2022 is given below:-
1. English language
Total number of question -30
Maximum marks -30
Duration - 20 mins
2. Numerical ability
Total number of questions - 35
Maximum marks - 35
Duration - 20 mins
3. Reasoning ability
Total number of questions -35
Maximum marks -35
Duration -20 mins
Total questions -100
Total marks -100
Total time -1 hour
Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. An adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for the Online Main examination.
And if the candidate clear prelims he have to appear for the mains.
In which the total number of questions are 190 , maximum marks -160 and total duration of 160 mins.
