Now, you also need to know how to prepare for the exam.     Dear Hemanth, My cousin appeared for the LPU NEST exam to get admission to the B.Tech programme at LPU. So I can share the detailed syllabus or exam pattern with you. The duration of the test is 150 minutes (2:30 hr. ). And it consists of objective type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Subjects:
    Physics
    Chemistry
    Mathematics
    Biology
    English
    Applicants can opt for either English Physics Chemistry Mathematics or English Physics Chemistry Biology
    There will be no negative marking for wrong answers or unanswered questions. For more details, you may refer to the LPU NEST website, I hope this helps

    LPU NEST aims to check how far the concepts from the previous qualification are clear. Those who have studied honestly will be able to make it.     LPU NEST is not much easy as well as not much difficult. If you do hard work and you have a good knowledge of topics which will be asked in LPU NEST then surely you will qualify the test. LPU NEST is an online test (Fully MCQs) with no negative marking. No negative marking in the test is a positive point for you. All the information pertaining to LPU NEST such as syllabus, sample papers, revision papers etc. Is given on LPU NEST website. You can check.

    The LPU NEST for B.Tech is a reasonably difficult test, if you have prepared for JEE Mains etc. , it should be enough, however it is suggested to try previous years papers and understand the pattern too. These are available at https://nest.lpu.in/engineering/sample_questions.php
    You must apply before October 27th, to secure the related scholarships at present high levels. Post that these may be reduced or even be phased out. Wishing you the best. DVD.

    Select the programme in which you wish to seek admission. There is a blue bar with a drop-down list where you can find every information like syllabus, question paper pattern, sample questions. You can find various questions on the internet for practice as well. All the best.

Candidates must visit official website, nest.lpu.in and log in by entering Email ID/ Mobile Number/ Application Number and Password and clicking on Log in. Click on LPUNEST slot booking option, available slots will be displayed on screen. Only candidates who have submitted application and fee payment can do slot booking. Select preferred centre, city, date and time for exam, and save preferences. Reservations will be made on a first come, first served basis. LPU NEST slot booking must be done at least 3 days before date of exam.

For a candidate who fails to complete Slot Booking before specified deadline, university books a slot for that candidate. Candidates must specify 5 choices of test centres in application form. LPU may book any of preferred slots for the candidate, depending on availability. In case none of the preferred slots of the candidate is available, another slot may be allotted by the university.
