    The CTET Paper-1 is for teaching posts in classes 1 to 5 in government and private schools. The syllabus for CTET Paper 1 consists of five sections. There are 30 questions, each worth one mark, in each section.

    These sections are:

    1. Child Development and Pedagogy: The topics are child development, learning, and pedagogy.
    2. Language I and Language II sections: These two sections consist of questions about the pedagogy of language development.
    3. Mathematics: This section includes basic math such as geometry, the solids around us, shapes, spatial understanding, the Number System addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

    In July 2022 syllabus weight contained 5 sections as child development and pedagogy, language l, language ll, mathematics and environmental studies. All equally weights with 30 marks.
