    Hi Arihant,
The entrance exam contains 4 sections namely:
    1. Quantitative Aptitude
    2. Reasoning Ability
    3. English Language Comprehension
    4. General awareness
The quantitative aptitude section contains maths questions till 10th standard. In order to prepare for the exam, you can refer to these books:
    1. Arihant's Guide to Mass Communication Entrance Exam
    2. Manorama Yearbook
    3. Kewal J Kumar's Mass Communication in India
Also, you must read at least 2 newspapers daily, preferably The Hindu and The Economic Times.

It totally depends upon the college but mostly the syllabus for the entrance exam is Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Current Affairs and question related to mass communication and journalism. Likewise NIMCJ take MACJET Entrance Exam with above syllabus in entrance exam.
