What is the syllabus of CAT?

I was scouting for the syllabus for CAT to put it on some other forum, but could not find any of the websites able to actually give a syllabus which I would be satisfied with. But then I realised that you actually cannot really define the CAT syllabus. Nowhere has CAT defined a syllabus. So tomorrow if they want to add the GK section to the exam, they can. But broadly speaking the following areas are which they test you on:
Quant - The topics that come in this section have varied. Initially there was quite a bit of weightage for the questions on Numbers. Of late the weightage for Numbers have gone down, but there is more weightage for G...more -
The areas which you need to work on to excel in CAT are you logical reasoning skills, Vocabulary skills, Mathematical Skills ,Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis Skills and conversation skill.
I would recommend that you try out the study material from IMS / TIME / Career Launcher as your first resource.
