    The Indian Coast Guard recently released a recruitment announcement for the Group A Gazetted Officer position of Assistant Commandant. In accordance with the number of openings for the position, candidates are chosen for the position of Assistant Commandant (Law) based on their performance in the PSB and FSB. Candidates applying for the law branch are exempted from the screening test portion of Stage I of the Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Selection Procedure (CGCAT), according to the Indian Coast Guard's official website.
