It is very nice to hear from you that you are interested in seeking lateral entry in a B.Tech course after doing your Diploma. Different states have different rulings for policies for coordinating or regulating admissions of lateral method. Some States conduct entrance exam for this while majority of the states give admission based on the marks obtained in the Diploma course.
