    Different topics covered in M.Sc. Statistics entrance exam are as follows:
    Probability
    Distributions
    Types of Data
    Sampling
    Sample Surveys
    Linear programming
    Introduction to computers
    Demographic Methods
    Time series Analysis
    The exam pattern may vary slightly for each University that conducts the test but, the topics covered for the entrance test will be similar as discussed above to a great extent.

    Hi there, you just need to visit LPU NEST website and click on the relevant subject to know about the syllabus. LPU NEST means last qualification plus general knowledge, verbal ability, analytical ability and reasoning. To have an idea what LPU NEST question paper looks like go to the LPU NEST website. Check the previous year question papers, sample question papers, syllabus etc. That are available at LPU NEST website. This will give you a fair insight into the exam pattern and help you prepare for the test better. The aim of conducting the test is to check how far the concepts are clear to the student.
