    SMAT syllabus is prescribed by Shiv Nadar University. It comprises three sections Quantitative Aptitude Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning and Verbal & Reading Comprehension. The SMAT question paper will have 60 objective type questions each carrying two marks. SMAT has three sections: Quantitative Aptitude Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning and Verbal & Reading Comprehension. Each component has 20 questions, and the candidates are evaluated on their proficiency in all three sections. The duration of the test is 90 minutes.     SMAT 2023 (Sports Management Admission Test) is going to be conducted on February 19, 2023 by IISM. The paper is conducted to grant opportunities to students seeking admission in undergraduate, postgraduate, and postgraduate Diploma courses offered by the institute. As per SMAT 2023 Syllabus, the question paper will consist of 5 sections namely, Quantitative Analysis, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability (Verbal Reasoning and Reading Comprehension), and Sports Awareness. The exam will be of 80 minutes and candidates have to solve 80 questions within this time period.

Candidates cannot appear for multiple SMAT sessions with single registration. The exam is conducted phase wise so does the registration. If one wishes to appear for the exam more than one time then they will have to register for the session specific exam. The SMAT registration fee is INR 1800.

For admission to SNU MBA programme, an entrance exam score is mandatory. If a candidate wishes to not appear for SMAT, the university’s own entrance test, then they can apply through CAT/XAT/NMAT/GATE/ GRE/GMAT exam score. Only then their application will be accepted for admission.

SMAT is an easy exam. There is no pressure to score a high percentile as well. The SMAT cut off is usually around 60-70 percentile. Questions from VARC, DILR and Quantitative Aptitude are easy in nature and not complicated. SMAT exam does not have negative marking or sectional time limit so there is no added pressure. One can easily solve 60 questions in 90 minutes.
