What is the tie-breaking rules for MET result?

<p>If there is a case when two or more candidates secure the same marks in MET, then the authorities will follow the tie-breaking rules to allot the ranks accordingly. The rules will be followed in the given order.</p><ul><li>Candidates who have higher marks in Mathematics will be allotted a higher rank.</li><li>If the tie still exists, then the candidates with higher marks in Physics will be given a higher rank.</li><li>If the tie has still not broken, then the candidates with higher marks in Chemistry will be allotted a higher rank.</li><li>If the tie still persists, then the candidates with higher marks in 10th standard PCM will be allotted a higher rank.</li><li>Finally, if the tie is still not broken, then the candidates who are older will be given a higher rank.</li></ul>
