    The time it takes to complete early childhood education (ECE) courses in Vancouver depends on the programme and institution:

    Vancouver Community College

    The Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Diploma programme is two years full time, or part time over two years. The ECCE Certificate Program is one year full time, or part time over two years. The maximum time to complete the Diploma programme is five years. 

    Langara

    The ECE Certificate Program is one year full time, or part time over two years. The part time programme is entirely online, except for three practica.
