International first-year students are encouraged to submit their English language test scores during the University of Florida admission process. However, it is not necessary to submit TOEFL scores or other English language test scores for admission to the university. Applicants must submit the TOEFL score for graduate admission. The minimum University of Florida TOEFL requirement is 80 for international students.

Though for freshman international admission at the University of Florida, all applicants are encouraged to show English language proficiency results of TOEFL / IELTS / Duolingo. But, the submission of English language proficiency test scores is not required for freshman admission.
For admission to graduate scores, the following minimum scores are required in the English language tests:
