The PTE Academic exam takes about two hours to complete in total. The three primary components of the test are Speaking and Writing, Reading, and Listening. In the Speaking and composing portion, which usually lasts 54–67 minutes, candidates finish exercises like composing essays, summarising written materials, and reading aloud. The reading portion, which covers multiple-choice and reorder paragraph questions, takes about 29 to 30 minutes.
