  • Hello Nishtha,
BITS Pilani is a private college and so the fee structure would be obviously higher than IITs and NITs which are government colleges.
The overall fee structure for 4 years at BITS will be around Rs 15 to Rs 16 lakhs.
In IITs and NITs the the fee structure for 4 years would be a maximum of Rs 5 lakhs only.

The total expenditure for engineering education at BITS is a bit higher than IIT/NIT. For a BE program at BITS, you need to pay about 4 Lakhs per annum whereas in IITs/NITs its almost 1.2 Lakhs per annum (on an average).

Talking about per semester fees, it is around 1.5 lakh so you can calculate the amount for all semesters as per your academic programme, i.e. graduation, post-graduation or PhD.

    Hello Nishtha,
The education fee in BITS for B.Tech. is around Rs. 3,30,000/- per year which is more as compared to all the IITs, NITs and IIITs.
In all the IIT JEE Colleges, there is some minute difference in the education fee. IIT Roorkee has the highest education fee of about Rs. 1,80,080/- per semester while IIT Ropar has the lowest among all the IITs with 1,03,000/- INR per semester.
