    The total marks combining Botony and Zoology sections of Biology is 360 marks in the NEET examination. The total mark for the entire examination is 720, and half of it is biology.

    The total marks for the NEET Biology section is 360.

    The NEET exam is worth a total of 720 marks, with each of the three subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) contributing 180 marks each. However, Biology is further divided into two parts: Botany and Zoology. Each of these parts carries a maximum of 90 marks (45 questions each) for a combined total of 180 marks.

    The total marks of the NEET Biology section is 360. As per the marking scheme of the NEET exam, each correct question carries four marks and there is a negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer. Since the total number of questions to be attempted in the NEET Biology section is 90, the total marks is 360. The section-wise marking scheme of the NEET Biology section is given in the table below.
